In this course, you will learn basic grammatical structures and vocabulary of present and past-day of Japanese language. You are also expected to learn the Japanese writing system of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji (Chinese characters), and to develop speaking, listening, writing, and reading abilities in Japanese. We have three main objectives for this semester:
- To learn basic grammatical structures of Japanese (present and past tenses)
- To learn vocaburaly words along with the basic grammar
- To learn three writing systems; Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji
