what is Japanese 101 Blog???

In this blog, students will share learning strategies and useful educational tools each other in order to improve Japanese linguistic skills. You can also share your Japanese learning experience here.

What you will do is:

a) To share Japanese learning websites

b) To share learning strategies

c) To share learning materials, such as online news, comic books, magazines, dictionary etc...

d) To post a message once a week, and everybody responds to it.

e) To share PowerPoint presentation slides, Videos, blogs, or other things which you work for group project.

Welcome to Japanese 101

In this course, you will learn basic grammatical structures and vocabulary of present and past-day of Japanese language. You are also expected to learn the Japanese writing system of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji (Chinese characters), and to develop speaking, listening, writing, and reading abilities in Japanese. We have three main objectives for this semester:

  • To learn basic grammatical structures of Japanese (present and past tenses)
  • To learn vocaburaly words along with the basic grammar
  • To learn three writing systems; Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji
